Okay whats your plan ladies? Are you starting soon, are they done, how old do you think is the right timing? I just got a copy of the Potty Training Bootcamp and I think Sam's ready. We shall see in a few days how things go.

Best of luck, Sarah! I hope it goes smoothly. Lucas is definitely not at that age yet - nervous for when he is. I'll be checking here for what others have to say about it, might as well get as many tips as I can Smile

Potty training Empty Re: Potty training

Post by Sarah Mon Jun 06, 2011 9:23 am

After about 20mins sitting on the potty this morning and some whining to get up, I told him to wait it out a bit and then sat him in front of the tv with his trains and sippy. 2mins later he starts going pee and gets scared, trying to get up. I sit him back down, give him a cuddle, and pee he went! jumpers yahoo

It is going good. Today was an accident day, but he was cranky and not really wanting to listen to mommy when I told him I knew he had to go (holding his wee-wee, fidgeting, etc). He'd sit on the potty 10 mins and then tell me there was no pee/poo. And then 2mins later, I had "wee" or "poo" all over my living room floor. Tss! :P

We did that 3 day potty training and since then he doesn't want his diaper off. He used to love naked time. Although the last 2 days he peed while outside (heck if I care!) and then today he peed on my carpet without even warning! Usually he says "new diaper, new diaper"
Hmmmm...
